Week 4 and 5ish

At this point, I’m not sure if the updates will continue consistently. Things are starting to turn for my dad and my energy must be devoted to him. As an only child and his last living relative, I have a lot to do before and when he passes. As it feels more imminent by the day – having the time for this is becoming more challenging.

As far as my diet/exercise/training goes – things have stayed consistent up until this point. I am currently on a 33-day step streak that I am planning to let intentionally expire, when I don’t know – maybe today. But I don’t want to distract myself too much mentally. I have completed all of my training runs and am in the middle of Week 4 of 13.

As of today I am down below 160.

I hope I am wrong and my dad bounces back and I can laugh about this post in a month. But for now – I will continue to try to eat right and exercise when I can but with sleep coming so infrequently, it will be an uphill battle for sure.
